That looks like a very painstaking, almost pointillist technique. But it sure pays off. I especially love the muscular body of the Sphinx. To me it seems closer to the Symbolists than the Surrealists.

just saying that people are confused of the sphinx in greece and the sphinx in egyptXD
cause my classmate reffered that egyptian sphinx have wings..but if they want to draw this...it shouldnt have wings...only the gods of their religion or the SPHINX itself have wingsXD
and the greek's sphinx does even in drawing=3
